Sitting high above the Kapiti Coast and looking out over rolling hills to the ocean, our cottages are everything you are looking for in a romatic getaway spot. Lovingly and individually decorated with everything you would want in a luxury getaway, including super king bed, luxurious bedding, complimentary wine and cheese, huge covered patio and a private outdoor bbq kitchen. You couldn’t ask for a more peaceful place to wash away the stresses of everyday life. Grab a book off the shelf and settle down in front of the fire for a day of pure relaxation or pour a glass of wine and settle out on the deck to watch as the sun sets and the sky turns every shade of red imaginable. As night sets in top up that wine and head to the hot tub to soak away the evening with uninterrupted views of the clear night sky. Delicious!

Our cozy, lovingly decorated domes are designed to get you close to nature but still provide the highest level of comfort, combining rustic charm with modern luxury.

Insulated and heated for those colder months, each of our two glampscape units is made up of two domes with private bathrooms, hot tubs and cooking facilities.

Tauhou is comprised of a beautifully appointed queen bedroom in one dome and an equally luxurious sitting area in the other. A sumptuous private ensuite (with all the mod cons) is just a few steps away from both domes, and the private outdoor tub will give you everything you need to say good by to the outside world. Your own outdoor cooking area, seals the deal and ensures you won’t have to see another human being for the duration of your stay at Dirt Farm…if you don’t want to. Absolutely perfect for that romantic getaway!

Ruru on the other hand, is made up of two queen bedroom domes each with its own ensuite only a few steps away. Set just far enough apart to “not make it weird ;)”, it is the perfect choice for friends wanting to share an adventure together. A private alfresco cooking area and exclusive access to our large hot tub overlooking the Tasman sea means you'll have memories coming out your ears by the time you leave Dirt Farm.

With 6 queen domes to fight over (one with its own sitting room), our beautifully rustic and delightfully charming glamp kitchen (complete with pizza over, bbq and everything you’ll need to cook up a storm) and our huge wood fired hot tub, overlooking the Tasman ocean, you’ve got the receipt for some good solid memory making! Gather in the Glamp Kitchen for a game of Monopoly or share wood fired Pizzas (calzones more realistically) then separate to your private glamping dome for ultimate comfort. Each dome is uniquely and sumtuously appointed, with its own beautiful ensuite and far enough away to ensure you won’t be woken by your uncle <insert name here> snoring at 2am.
The Wood burning Hot Tub is just a short walk away and promises unparalleled sunsets and star gazing. Share it with friends or sneak away and enjoy the serenity all by yourself.
