TERMS & CONDITIONS
I declare that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, the mountain bike I am using for the ride session or sessions is in safe working order and fit for mountain biking. I understand my bike will be subject to a safety check prior to the start of my ride session and may be subject to a spot check at any time during the session. I also understand that I will not be permitted to ride an unsafe bike.
I declare that I possess, and will wear, the required approved safety gear, and that, to the best of my knowledge and belief, this gear is in safe working order and fit for mountain biking. I also acknowledge that Dirt Farm recommends always riding with head, eye, hand, back, neck and knee protection. I understand that I will not be permitted to ride without the appropriate safety equipment.
I agree to be bound by Dirt Farms Code of Conduct.
I agree to abide by any decision or instruction directed at me by any authorised person of Dirt Farm during my ride session.
Dirt Farm reserves the right to withdraw , without refund, any person who in its opinion is likely to endanger themselves or others. I recognise that Dirt Farm reserves the right to cancel, modify, or curtail any session if my safety or that of any other person becomes a concern.
I am aware that the sport of Mountain Biking may cause me injury and/or damage my property. I wish to take part in the ride session offered by Dirt Farm despite these risks. I am physically fit and there is no health or other reason why I should not participate in the sport of Mountain Biking. Prior to the start of my session, I will advise Dirt Farm of any preexisting health conditions that may require immediate medical attention.
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, I release, waive, discharge and hold blameless Dirt Farm and its authorised persons from any and all liability for death, disability, personal injury (including mental injury), property damage, property theft, loss of personal equipment and all other risks, claims or actions of any kind (including negligence) directly or indirectly arising as a consequence of me carrying out any ride session with Dirt Farm. This exclusion is subject to any rights or remedies I may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
I understand that under New Zealand law the accident compensation scheme provides only limited assistance to visitors to New Zealand who suffer personal injury. I acknowledge that Dirt Farm strongly recommends that all visitors to New Zealand should have full insurance covering any personal injury and that everyone should have insurance for loss or damage to property.
I indemnify Dirt Farm and its authorised persons against all claims, damages or losses incurred as the direct or indirect result of any injury to me or damage to my property, and/or any injury to a third party or damage to a third party’s property, and/or any injury to any authorised person of Dirt Farm or damage to any of Dirt Farm property, during or as a result of or in any way related to any ride session administered by Dirt Farm.
This disclaimer will be binding on my family, legal assigns, trustees, administrators and executors.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Stay in control of your bike at all times
Ride within your capabilities
Slower riders have the right of way, but should allow faster riders to pass when safe to do so
Always stop and give assistance to injured riders
Respect the staff, they have the keys to the shuttle truck
Read all signs and follow their instructions
Ride only on designated trails
Report any hazards or unsafe trails to Dirt Farm staff
Toilets and rubbish bins are there for a reason. Use them
To protect the environment please ensure your bike is clean before arriving at Dirt Farm
Don't frighten any animals
Drive Mangaone North road with care and respect the well being of other road users
Cancellation & Booking POLICY
Dirt Farm reserves the right to cancel any session where management considers there would be a significant risk to riders safety. In the event of a cancellation Dirt Farm will either provide riders with a credit or full refund.
All sessions must be paid for in advance.
A rider can cancel or reschedule a booking online up to 48 hrs prior to the commencement of the session. Any cancellation with less than 48 hrs notice will not be refunded.
A session must have a minimum of 10 riders to proceed. In the event of a cancellation due to low numbers, Dirt Farm management will notify customers of the cancellation at least 12 hours before the start of the session and provide them with a credit or full refund.
